Prior to joining Chaikin Analytics, Pete owned and operated a registered investment advisory ("RIA") firm where he managed his clients' portfolios using his proprietary methodologies. And he spent the bulk of his career as a portfolio manager for high-net-worth families, individuals, and institutions.

Pete brings portfolio-management experience to Chaikin Analytics from some of the largest names in finance – including Prudential Securities, Lehman Brothers, Wachovia Securities, and PNC Investments.

Joe Austin joined Chaikin Analytics in July 2024 as an editor and senior analyst. Before that, he spent four decades in the financial-services industry...

Joe began his Wall Street career as a research analyst for the technology sector in 1984. Along the way, he also served as a senior portfolio manager on a more than $10 billion value equity product and a $80 million long-short science and tech hedge fund. And he provided research coverage of the tech sector for a $5 billion hedge fund.

In the second half of his career, Joe moved into marketing and business development for alternative asset managers. In this role, his strategies included global long-short equity, distressed debt and activist equity, and a natural resource-focused private equity fund.

Joe has worked with all sorts of investors in his long career – including endowments, foundations, pension funds, investment consultants, and some of the country's wealthiest and most prominent families.

And now, he's bringing his knowledge and skills to individual investors like you at Chaikin Analytics.

Vic Lederman is the Editorial Director at Chaikin Analytics. And he has become something of a "geniuses' keeper of secrets" over the years...

You see, Vic worked with scientist and inventor Andy Hildebrand. In that role, he tested and supported the kind of technology products that have contributed to nearly every pop music recording since the 1990s.

Vic worked with Andy in the final years leading up to the company's sale.

Then, Vic joined our corporate affiliate Stansberry Research in 2017. He worked alongside investment-newsletter industry legend Steve Sjuggerud. Specifically, he helped Steve in the years leading up to his successful retirement...

In one of his main roles, Vic led the company's coverage of the commercial real estate space as the editor of True Wealth Real Estate. He brought the "insider only" world of private real estate deals to everyday investors, along with the most promising stock recommendations in the housing space.

Vic also helped with True Wealth Systems. In that publication, he completed a behind-the-scenes analysis of Steve's overarching strategy. And he developed quantitative, trend-based trading strategies while testing millions of system variations.

In True Wealth, Vic produced research-driven, evidence-based investing ideas with a "big picture" approach. By doing that, he helped uncover fundamental stories supported by financial trends.

Larsen graduated magna cum laude from Manhattan College with a bachelor's degree in physics.

Initially, he worked for four years in management consulting as a financial analyst. After rising to the role of senior analyst, Larsen moved on to an exciting opportunity...

Working in "the pit" at the New York Board of Trade.

That's the fast-paced, "shout and get deals done" setting you probably think of when you picture Wall Street. Larsen spent about a year as a junior trader.

Next, in 2006, Larsen moved to the independent financial research industry...

Specifically, he joined market legend Jim Cramer's team at TheStreet. And he worked alongside Cramer for three years.

Since then, Larsen has served as a financial analyst at various financial-research firms. That experience included a four-year stint at our corporate affiliate Stansberry Research.

Along the way, Larsen even found time to tutor kids in math at his local middle school.

Larsen preferred to stay "behind the scenes" for most of his career. But going forward, we're excited for our Chaikin Analytics subscribers to benefit from his knowledge and insights.

Ethan Goldman joined Chaikin Analytics in early 2025 as a bit of a "blank slate"...

In short, he's an outsider to the world of finance. And to us... that's great.

It means Ethan can provide our subscribers with a fresh perspective on the markets.

Ethan previously made a living in bespoke woodworking. That's the art of creating custom wooden pieces for customers.

In that industry, paying attention to detail is critical.

Ethan also worked in 3D printing and computer-aided woodworking. So he knows how to translate complex technical topics into real-world results.

The Power Gauge attracted Ethan to Chaikin Analytics...

Specifically, he's interested in data analysis. And as a junior analyst, he plans to focus on the technical side of our one-of-a-kind system.
